"LOVE AND TOLERENCE OF OTHERS IS OUR CODE"
While owing a debt of gratitude to the program of Alcoholics Anonymous, Recovery-World Is dedicated to serving the recovery community. Recovery World at the most fundamental level, believes in one recovering person helping another recovering person. Therefore, we will not only always strive to serve our customers commercially but we will also always try to maintain and grow both a recovery community and resource center to support individual recovery.
Recovery World, LLC is owned and operated by Dewan (nephew if the departed John Stockton) and wife Susan Thornberry (friends of Bill W.) and at times some of their six children.
Founders Uncle John (deceased) & Aunt Julie Stockton
From John Stockton (2010):
Recovery-World was born 5 years ago with a vision I had while sitting in jail on my last DUI. In the beginning I never intended to sell anything on Recovery-World but simply provide information so others could avoid my misfortunes. Upon trying to purchase Julie's 18th sobriety token I was ticked at the high price so I decided I would sell medallions cheap. Of course, it didn't take long before I realized you can't sell medallions at cost unless you're a millionaire.

Julie and I both have three degrees, Julie majored in sociology and anthropology, and has been a model and runner up on Miss Teenager, and I majored in psychology and business. We both have been licensed substance counselors, and I retired as a counselor. Earlier in life I rose to the top of the corporate world with ease, and some might arguably say I played some role in the way business is conducted today compared to the way it was in the 60's and 70's. When I retired I became a licensed master builder, and single-handedly built 6 houses. After an injury while flying off a ladder two stories high I decided to master the computer and was able to create one of the most successful shopping malls on the internet. Aside from writing a book, trying to right the wrongs of the world as I charged non-existent windmills while in my Don Quixote mode, and running through life in the fast lane desparately searching for my little place in the world which I have finally found in Recovery-World.
